Reviews the financial records for the prior year and reports the findings. Performed once annually.
Candidate Recruitment/Retention
Responsible for recruiting new CPCU candidates, contacting prospective students, providing information and guidance on educational opportunities available and encouraging enrollment in insurance education classes. Makes non-CPCUs aware of the CPCU designation and the benefits it provides to their company and clients.

The CPCU Society’s 14 interest groups deepen members’ professional insight and vision. They provide dynamic, specialized views of the risk management and insurance industry across disciplines and functional area. Involvement creates invaluable opportunities for members to connect and network and access informational resources and best practices. Groups are Leadership & Managerial Excellence, Risk Management, Agent & Broker, Claims, Coverage, Litigators, Educators & Witnesses, Excess/Surplus/Specialty Lines, Information Technology, International Insurance, Loss Control, Personal Lines, Regulatory & Legislative, Reinsurance, Professional Experience Resource Group and Underwriting.
Circle of Excellence
Education
Provides and promotes timely quality insurance education both continuing education (CE) and non-continuing education credit options, soft skills and leadership development. Encourages members to continue their professional development by promoting continuing education.
Good Works/Networking
Plans and provides opportunities to participate in charitable events and networking socials.
Information Technology & Webmaster
Develops, maintains our website and keeps it current with scheduled events and photos. The Webmaster assists and recommends the use of new technological tools, computer software and social media networks such as Facebook and LinkedIn in order to promote the Chapter as an educational and professional organization that benefits the community and its members.

Program and Event Planning
Plans, promotes ad coordinates monthly chapter meeting programs including scheduling speakers. Schedules and coordinates seminars on contemporary insurance and leadership issues.
Scholarship
Responsible for awarding scholarships to graduating high school seniors and currently enrolled college students who are immediately related to chapter members. Students should excel in academics, community service activities and school-related activities. In addition, students must submit an essay. The Scholarship Committee reviews and rates all essays submitted.
Volunteer Recruitment & Development
Coordinates chapter opportunities to participate in community service activities. Ensures that the chapter represents the insurance industry to the broader community in a manner consistent with our creed and cannons. Coordinates a quarterly article about service to the local community, highlighted on the web site and incorporated in the newsletter.
